Economic Stimulus Payment

No, we won't get ours until about June. I do have an IRS informant though and she said they might start overlapping these checks and there is a possibility (slight) that they will start coming out earlier than posted.

I should be receiving my stimulus money this week as well. It will be via direct deposit to my checking account. Every morning I access my account online to see if the money has been deposited... :crazytongue:

I was told today that even though I am not suppose to get mine until June, we should get them in May. *Crossing fingers*!

Now, I just have to start researching where to get the best deals on school clothes, supplies, shoes, etc. That is where 1/2 of the money is going!

Yes, it will be counted as income and we will have to pay taxes on the money...

There is debate about this on the internet.

Keep in mind though, we're dealing with the government!! Need I say more!

I have yet to see them not tax anything including my disability income which isn't much!! :cussing:

We won't have to pay it back next year or claim it as income. I have a close family member (parent) there ;)

All info and such is here on this site.

Maybe, you can post a direct link to the info. I couldn't seem to find anything pertaining to that there, not even under FAQ.

I have seen it but, forgot where so I will ask her when she gets online later to see if she can give me the link.

It is on the IRS website. You will not claim it as income.

I'll find hte link I saw it on the IRS

Its not going to be considered income.

After the last one, I was sure it was gonna be! I am really surprised at that one!!
