I'm ready to run for the hills myself. I really don't feel comfortable with any of these people. I like McCain as a person and think he did a wonderful job defending our country in battle, but I am not comfortable with him as president. Also, I don't think that Obama will make a good president either. I think the next four years are looking very, very grim for our economy and our country no matter who gets in...
I think I might as well vote for Mr. Ed...it will mean about as much ~ well, I guess after the last two fiascos of elections it will matter just as much anyway. I used to think that it mattered to vote, and I always do, but I have to say that I have a much different outlook on the elections now than eight years ago!

yep! right there with ya. Mr. Ed huh? wonder what his views are on global warming  I don't feel comfortable not voting so I have some thinking to do. This recent VP pick has moved me one step closer to choosing though. I don't like Obama but..... his views more closely resemble mine. That's the main thing isn't it. I cant in good conscience vote for some one who's views I find....... whats a nice word? distasteful?
I know nothing about her, and the biggest corporations in the country back BOTH candidates. That there speaks volumes. If no other candidates are on the ballot, we're writing in our choice who we already picked. No one is forced to vote democrat or republican. I'd rather vote my conscience, and not care if others may think I'm wasting my vote. Maybe, if everyone did that, we wouldn't keep getting idiots in the White House.
Here you go - no need to write in a pick: Bob Barr - the Libertarian Party nominee :headbang:
Whatever happened to hippies and protests?
I believe that both main candidates, being both backed by the same largest corporations in America, equates to working for Corporate America, not the people.
All their debating, campaigning, etc., that they show on television, to me, is nothing more than a performance. They're all poo!
Is it any wonder we don't watch much television here anymore! I used to get so angry listening to all the poo coming out of their mouths! :crazytongue:
This is totally off the subject (imagine that ), but why is there a cow down by the spell check option? Does anyone know?
