Governor Sarah Palin

lets try again.

I too want to see unscripted, honest responses. most media is biased.. If you like McCain watch Fox news *cough*.. sorry, but Fox news is more tabloid.. If you like Obama watch MSNBC.. The only one that I have seen that isn't blatantly biased is CNN..

Well you tube did do this early on in this election and I really wished Obama would have agreed to town hall meetings with John McCain because we would have seen them answering without their speech writers writing their speeches.

He would have. McCain wouldn't come down on the number of town hall meetings. McCain wanted 10, Obama wanted to do 5.. It isn't that he refused just because he didn't want to or was afraid to he didn't want to do 10.

I happen to disagree with you about CNN actually lol. I also think they are on that Obama love fest. You do realize because we support different candidates we will more than likely not agree on anything politics. That is why there are different political views. I would hope though that even if we disagree on everything politics we agree on the fact that the country needs help. And of course we agree on sweepstakes being a great hobby. Also we agree that SA is the best sweeps site around. :)

Oh and yes I do like Fox

After all SA is fair and balanced sweeping. And best of all free :)

Wow. Even McCain's top aide doesn't think he nor Palin are well-suited for the job.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/09/17/mccain-camp-throws-fiorin_n_127009.html

"Top McCain-Palin official Carly Fiorina is facing criticism from some within the campaign for a day of what they call 'very Biden-like' comments," CNN reports, "after the former Hewlett-Packard CEO told two separate interviewers that neither member of the Republican ticket would be capable of running a company."

Indeed, the daggers seemed out for Fiorina among the McCain aides that spoke to CNN.

But don't despair, McCain-Palin advocates, she doesn't think Obama nor Biden are either LOL

From yahoo news

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/09/16/fiorina.mccain/index.html?section=cnn_latest

Carly Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard CEO turned top John McCain aide, said she doesn't think Sarah Palin is qualified to run a major corporation. For that matter, Fiorina said, McCain, Obama and Biden aren't capable of that kind of job either.

"If John McCain's top economic adviser doesn't think he can run a corporation, how on Earth can he run the largest economy in the world in the midst of a financial crisis?" said Obama spokesman Tommy Vietor. "Apparently, even the people who run his campaign agree that the economy is an issue John McCain doesn't understand as well as he should."

So, uh, what now? Hope for the best? The future of this country is looking rather dim in my opinion.

If McCain wants 10 debates and Obama 5 then they need to schedule 8 and Obama needs to walk out during the middle of the eighth one so that will be 7.5 debates

This had me cracking up. Its just so... stupid.

from the article...

So when there was a vacancy at the top of the State Division of Agriculture, she appointed a high school classmate, Franci Havemeister, to the $95,000-a-year directorship. A former real estate agent, Ms. Havemeister cited her childhood love of cows as a qualification for running the roughly $2 million agency.

My daughter and I were watching the news and they were talking about this and my daughter just shook her head.. Im trying to convince her they arent all bad.. Not having much luck when stories like this keep popping up.

Everyone in some sort of position does stuff like that all the time. Where I lived in Pennsylvania before, the Superintendent (a liberal) of our school system appointed a Burger King manager without the required experience to head up the Transportation Department at a hefty salary.

They all do it! No surprise to me. :sleepy:

And this story made me mad..

http://caffertyfile.blogs.cnn.com/2008/09/16/obama-race-a-factor/

from the article.

The differences between Barack Obama and John McCain couldn't’t be more well-defined. Obama wants to change Washington. McCain is a part of Washington and a part of the Bush legacy. Yet the polls remain close. Doesn’t make sense…unless it’s race.

Are there some that wont for him because he is black.. maybe.. But I really believe that most of the folks not voting for him or doing so because they don't like his politics. not because of the color of his skin.. I don't think its fair to say McCain supporters are a bunch of bigots. Its ridiculous and cafferty should be ashamed of himself for suggesting it.

I wouldn't put any stock in polling. Each party does it's own polling, and they usually do their polling in areas that are predominantly voters of their own party. So, it really doesn't give a clear picture of who people are leaning towards.

As for supporters, if you were to send for the list of campaign contributors, you'll find that the biggest corporations are backing both of the candidates. Heading the list are, of course, the oil companies. When we sent for the list during the Bush/Gore campaign, 60 of the biggest corporation were backing both candidates.

My view on this whole thing is that both candidates together put on a better show than the WWE! :crazytongue:

I also believe that the majority of voters who will not be voting for Obama do not agree with his political views. And I do not think McCain supporters are a bunch of bigots. My opinion, anyway.

Other people in positions of power may appoint inexperienced people for whatever reason but it doesn't make it right. I think that's the point Tracey was trying to make. It is reflecting on Palin's misuse of power and on more than one occasion. It seems to be the norm with her.

I have to say this is a very tight race and the polls will change up until the election. I am thinking this may be one of those counting the ballots to see who the winner is. Just like last time. I sure hope not.

I know the attacks are getting worse and honestly all of it is a bunch of promises that I am not sure either will keep.

Nov. will be here before we know it and there will be half of the election not happy with the results lol.

That's the thing Obama is not going to change anything. He is just like any other member of his party's politics. In fact he is even more left then others but he's the same old politics. What exactly do you think he would change? I just don't see it because what he is proposing is not new.

Any candidate can make all the promises they want, but they can't the guarantee anything they are promising without the backing of the Senate and the House of Representatives which they don't even know yet if they will have at this time.

Exactly and look what happens now. Congress has such a low approval rating. Right now they can't even agree on off shore drilling.

no. McCain is the same old politics.. He is just like bush. The economy is the main issue as far as im concerned and McCain thinks the economy is just fine and dandy. That's someone who doesn't have a clue. He will raise taxes for the middle class and give tax breaks to the wealthiest Americans. That's bush politics.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/story/2008/06/09/ST2008060900950.html

from article..

Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain are both proposing tax plans that would result in cuts for most American families. Obama's plan gives the biggest cuts to those who make the least, while McCain would give the largest cuts to the very wealthy

That what bush has done for 8 years. Most people will vote along party lines regardless. Thats a shame.

What exactly do you think he would change? [/QUOTE]

LOL cin,,,, 1 of the things he would change is that it's ok to give "daps" in the White House. That irritates me everytime I see him and his wife doing that to each other.... So unprofessional.... This is america not some street rally.....

Tracy I know all of the talking points from the campaigns but what do you think Obama will change?. I could post links supporting my candidate but I was hoping you would give me your opinion.
