Prayer Of The Day

Hebrews 10:23-31
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so Much the more as you see the Day approaching.
For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Anyone who has rejected Moses law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how Much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing. and insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know Him who said, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay" say the Lord. And again, "The LORD will judge His people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

I usually do not write anything here except scripture out of the Bible, but something happened with my Nephew I have to share how wonderful Gods love is.
My nephew is 17 years old, that in itself is a miracle as he was born with Myotonic Dystrophy. He also had severe brain damage, as the forceps penetrated into his skull and damaged his brain. His legs where also completely backwards. The doctors did not expect him to live through the night, but obviously he has made it through many nights. They turned his legs around in surgery, and while clumsy he walks pretty good.
Now that you know his history the story will make more since. He recently has been having problems with his heart stopping and again the doctors tell us he will be leaving soon. He spends allot of time with me as no parent could take care of him all the time with out a break or they would lose their mind. My brother and his wife do very well with him and give everything for his well being. Well on his last visit I was naturally conserned about him having an attack while sleeping and me not knowing it. Mentally he is apx. 3 years old. Well I moved a cot into my bedroom for him and he asked me why. I told him I just wanted him close and loved him. He looked at me with the strangest look and said, did you know I talked to Jesus last night?? I asked what do you mean, when you prayed. He said no just talked to Him like I do and He asked me to come with Him and I told Him I would like to stay here some more and was that O.K. He said yes I could stay, so Auntie Dawn don't worry I am going to stay awhile more. At this point I was totally blown away, while we do teach him about God and to pray, this was way past anything I have or his parents have taught him and no one has told him about how bad his condition is now. I guess sometimes we just need to listen to the children and do like God said and come to him as a child. Anyway just had to share this inspiring thing with you all, this little boy is one of the major reasons of my faith being so strong as so many times his pure love has shown me the right way.

John 9:1-11
Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying,"Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?"
Jesus answered, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day, the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world."
When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva;and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, And He said to him, "Go wash in the pool of Siloam"(which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing.
Therefore the neighbors and those who previously had seen that he was blind said, "Is not this he who sat and beggedd?" Some said, "This is he" Others said, "Hi is like him."
He said, "I am he."
Therefore they said to him, " How were your eyes opened?"
He answered and said, "A Man called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes and said to me, " Go to the pool of Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and I received sight."

John 1:1-10
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life--the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us-- that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us, and truly our fellowship is with the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. And these things we write to you that your joy may be full.
This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

I pray for the peace of Jerusalem today and every day. They are God's chosen people and even though they turned their backs on him, he will not forget them. Today we are no different than they were. God in his mercy has grafted us into the tree and we are all his if we choose to believe Amen.

God is amazing and thank you for sharing this. It is an inspiration to all who serve the Lord. Praise God

Acts4:32-37 5:1-11
Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. Nor was there anyone among them who lacked, for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the thing that were sold, and laid them at the apostles feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need.
And Jose's, who was also named Barnabas by the apostles (which is transited Son of Encouragement), a Levitt of the country of Cyprus, having land, sold it, and brought the money and laid it at the apostles feet.
But a certain man named Ananias's, with Sapphire his wife, sold a possession. And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles feet. But Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God."
Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things. And the young men arouse and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him.
Now it was about three hours later when his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. And Peter answered her, "Tell me whether you sold the land for so much?" She said, "Yes, for so much."
Then Peter said to her, "How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out." Then immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. And the young men came in and found her dead, and carrying her out , buried her by her husband. So great fear came upon all the church and upon all who heard these things.

Psalm 117
Praise the LORD, all you Gentiles!
Laud Him, all you peoples!
For His merciful kindness is great
toward us,
And the truth of the LORD endures
forever.
Praise the LORD!

1Corinthians 9:24-27
Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we do it for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run this: not with uncertainty, thus I fight not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

NKJV

1Peter 3:1-

Wives, likewise, be submissive to your won husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives, when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear. Do not let your adornment be merely outward--arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel--rather let it be the hidden person of the heart; with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God, For in this manner, in former times the holy women who trusted on God also adorned themselves being submissive to their own husbands as Sarah obeyed Abraham calling him lord, whose daughters you are if you do good and are not afraid with any terror.
Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that you prayers may not be hindered.

I love that Jesus is teaching me through his word and his Holy Spirit. When we listen carefully we will hear that still small voice telling us to go the way of the Lord. As children of God we should always be growing and I personally don't think we will ever be perfect until we are in heaven with Jesus. I am a work in progress, praise God.

1John 4:7-11

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us,that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God , but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for out sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

2 Corinthians9:6-15

But this I say:He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. As it is written:
"He has dispersed abroad.
He has given to the poor;
His righteousness endures
forever."
Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God. For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God, while, through the proof of this ministry, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal sharing with them and all men, and by their prayer for you who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you. Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!

Romans14:1-12 NKJV

Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things. For one believes he may eat all things, but he who is weak eats only vegetables. Let not him who eats despise him who does not eat, and let not him who does not eat judge him who eats; for God has received him. Who are you to judge another's servant? To his won master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.
One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind. He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord, and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks, and he who does not eat, to the Lord he does not eat, and gives God thanks. for none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself. for if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord's. for to this end Christ died and rose and lived again. that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living. But why do judge your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written:
" As I live, says the LORD,
Every knee shall bow to Me,

And every tongue shall confess to God."
So then each of us shall give account of himself to God. Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this,"not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother's way.

Hebrews 2:1-4 NKJV
God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than than they. For to which of the angels did He ever say: Your are My Son, Today I have begotten You"? And again: "I will be to Him a Father, And He shall be to Me a Son"? but when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: "Let all the angels of God worship Him."And of the angels He says: "Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire." But to the Son He says: " Your throne I God, is forever and ever, A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness. Therefore God, Your God,"has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions." And: "You, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands. They will perish, but You remain; And they will all grow old like a garment: Like a cloak You will fold them up, And they will be changed, But You are the same, And Your years will not fail." but to which of the angels has He ever said: "sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool"? Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?
Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. for if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, how shall we excape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him. God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?

I have been doing a lot of thinking about this.
What does the Bible mean that we are not to judge others?
www.gotquestions.org
What does the Bible mean that we are not to judge others? Does the Bible forbid judging others in all circumstances?

If we are willing to point out sin then we should be willing to do so with love and we should consider the fact we might also be in sin. Too often I see people ready and willing to point out the sin in the lives of others but not to notice they may also be in need of correction. Let us all examine our hearts and seek the truth in love Amen and God Bless.

I know I am not here as often as I should. I just get caught up in other things :) I know how important it is to remain in the presence of Christ each and every day so I pray we all seek his face continually. Dawn God Bless my friend and thank you for serving a loving God.

Jude16-25 NKJV
These are grumblers, complainers, walking, according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to there own ungodly lusts. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit. But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And on some have compassion, making a distinction, but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.
Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless, Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.

James 4:1-17
Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You right and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of god. Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously"? But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee form you. Draw near to god and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purity your heart, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. but if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy, Who are you to judge another?
Come now you who say, "today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit"; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is you life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then banishes away. Instead you ought to say,"If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that." but now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

Corinthians 1:11 NKJV
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able in our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble. with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. for as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ. Now if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation which is effective for enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. Or if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. And our hope for you is steadfast, because we know that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also you will partake of the consolation.
