Prayer Of The Day

God is good and he is good all the time. I started to think about if God allows us to win sweepstakes and does he help us if we pray to him about wining. I don't think he is just helping us to win but I do believe he wants us to give him the glory for everything we receive. His word does say ask and ye shall receive but he doesn't give us everything we ask for. He knows what is in store for our future and we don't so whenever we win a sweep or find an answer to needed finances or even if we face something that is painful he deserves the recognition and thanks for it. By trusting that God is good we also trust that he is in control.

I don't believe in luck but I do believe in God and he is good and righteous.

Walk by faith and not by sight. It's all about having faith in God and walking in faith each and every day. We don't have to see him to know he's real. He is real and the more you practice faith the more it becomes a reality. With faith we can move mountains. Move your mountains Amen.

Psalm 93
1THE LORD reigns, He is clothed with majesty; the Lord is robed, He has girded Himself with strength and power; the world also is established, that it cannot be moved.
2Your throne is established from of old; You are from everlasting.

3The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up the roaring of their waves.

4The Lord on high is mightier and more glorious than the noise of many waters, yes, than the mighty breakers and waves of the sea.

5Your testimonies are very sure; holiness [apparent in separation from sin, with simple trust and hearty obedience] is becoming to Your house, O Lord, forever.

Psalm 63
A Psalm of David; when he was in the Wilderness of Judah.
1O GOD, You are my God, earnestly will I seek You; my inner self thirsts for You, my flesh longs and is faint for You, in a dry and weary land where no water is.
2So I have looked upon You in the sanctuary to see Your power and Your glory.

3Because Your loving-kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You.

4So will I bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.

5My whole being shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips

6When I remember You upon my bed and meditate on You in the night watches.

7For You have been my help, and in the shadow of Your wings will I rejoice.

8My whole being follows hard after You and clings closely to You; Your right hand upholds me.

9But those who seek and demand my life to ruin and destroy it shall [themselves be destroyed and] go into the lower parts of the earth [into the underworld of the dead].

10They shall be given over to the power of the sword; they shall be a prey for foxes and jackals.

11But the king shall rejoice in God; everyone who swears by Him [that is, who binds himself by God's authority, acknowledging His supremacy, and devoting himself to His glory and service alone; every such one] shall glory, for the mouths of those who speak lies shall be stopped.

Do you need a healing? If you do just cry out to Jesus. He is in the healing business. He does not change because he is the same for all eternity and if he healed people then he will heal us now. Whatever you are praying about he hears you and he will answer your prayers. Cry out to Jesus Amen.

Galatians 6:6-8 (Amplified Bible)
6Let him who receives instruction in the Word [of God] share all good things with his teacher [contributing to his support].

7Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked [a]by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap.

8For he who sows to his own flesh (lower nature, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay and ruin and destruction, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life

I'm in Louisiana because my sister won a great makeover. I wanted to tell her how happy I am for her and be with her at the news station. God bless sisters Amen.

Father I ask that you would keep us safe. As a nation we are turning our backs on you and I repent of the sins for us. We need you oh Lord and we need your righteousness. We have to turn back to the Bible and heed God's word. Do not turn your back on us Lord because we have sinned. I will seek your face and humble myself before you Amen.

Let's all seek his face in times of trouble. He is the only one.

Bless this site and bless those who use it. We can ask for blessings to come our way and God is a Father who wants to bless his children Amen.

Busy morning today but I still need to acknowledge my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Father I praise you and give you glory. You are worthy of all praise and I shall lift you up on high. Glorify his name always and forever Amen.

GOD be with us each day . I love him completely and I want to serve him forever.Today more than ever we need to be a follower of Christ. Look around you and ask yourself if this time in existence is what God prophesied? Can we not see where we are headed? Now more than any other time prophesy is unfolding quickly and right before our eyes. What a time to be alive and what a time to know Jesus. It may seem fearful out there but we as Christians do not walk by fear. We have the almighty God to follow. Put your trust in him and live for him. He is an awesome God Amen.

Remember each morning is a new beginning. We have a chance to start over. We can ask to be forgiven and God tells us our sins are forgotten. That doesn't mean we can walk around sining all the time but because we will at times fail due to our human nature, we can confess our sins and turn from our wicked ways. When we accept Christ the Holy Spirit lives in us and we become a new person. We are convicted in our hearts. Let us listen to the Holy Spirit and turn from sin.

God is good all the time and all the time God is good. Praise his name Amen.

I've been on the road and just got back.

Proverbs 25
1THESE ARE also the proverbs of Solomon, which the men of Hezekiah king of Judah copied:(A)
2It is the glory of God to conceal a thing, but the glory of kings is to search out a thing.(B)

3As the heavens for height and the earth for depth, so the hearts and minds of kings are unsearchable.

4Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth [the material for] a vessel for the silversmith [to work up].(C)

5Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne will be established in righteousness (moral and spiritual rectitude in every area and relation).

6Be not forward (self-assertive and boastfully ambitious) in the presence of the king, and stand not in the place of great men;

7For better it is that it should be said to you, Come up here, than that you should be put lower in the presence of the prince, whose eyes have seen you.(D)

8Rush not forth soon to quarrel [before magistrates or elsewhere], lest you know not what to do in the end when your neighbor has put you to shame.(E)

9Argue your cause with your neighbor himself; discover not and disclose not another's secret,(F)

10Lest he who hears you revile you and bring shame upon you and your ill repute have no end.

11A word fitly spoken and in due season is like apples of gold in settings of silver.(G)

12Like an earring or nose ring of gold or an ornament of fine gold is a wise reprover to an ear that listens and obeys.

13Like the cold of snow [brought from the mountains] in the time of harvest, so is a faithful messenger to those who send him; for he refreshes the life of his masters.

14Whoever falsely boasts of gifts [he does not give] is like clouds and wind without rain.(H)

15By long forbearance and calmness of spirit a judge or ruler is persuaded, and soft speech breaks down the most bonelike resistance.(I)

16Have you found [pleasure sweet like] honey? Eat only as much as is sufficient for you, lest, being filled with it, you vomit it.

17Let your foot seldom be in your neighbor's house, lest he become tired of you and hate you.

18A man who bears false witness against his neighbor is like a heavy sledgehammer and a sword and a sharp arrow.

19Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a broken tooth or a foot out of joint.

20He who sings songs to a heavy heart is like him who lays off a garment in cold weather and like vinegar upon soda.(J)

21If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink;(K)

22For in doing so, you will [a]heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord will reward you.

23The north wind brings forth rain; so does a backbiting tongue bring forth an angry countenance.

24It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop than to share a house with a disagreeing, quarrelsome, and scolding woman.(L)

25Like cold water to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far [home] country.

26Like a muddied fountain and a polluted spring is a righteous man who yields, falls down, and compromises his integrity before the wicked.

27It is not good to eat much honey; so for men to seek glory, their own glory, causes suffering and is not glory.

28He who has no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down and without walls.
