Prayer Of The Day

Amen, thank you for the reminder. Hope all is well with you.

It is well with my soul  I hope and pray the same for you.

I won't deny that I face trials and tribulations like everyone else but I choose to say that it is well. I thank him for everything I experience because there is a lesson to be learned and he has a plan for my life. Put your complete trust in the one who has us in the palm of his hand. Visualize his loving arms around you and call out it is well with my soul Amen.

Psalm 81
To the Chief Musician; set to Philistine lute, or [possibly] a particular Gittite tune. [A Psalm] of Asaph.
1SING ALOUD to God our Strength! Shout for joy to the God of Jacob!
2Raise a song, sound the timbrel, the sweet lyre with the harp.

3Blow the trumpet at the New Moon, at the full moon, on our feast day.

4For this is a statute for Israel, an ordinance of the God of Jacob.

5This He ordained in Joseph [the [a]savior] for a testimony when He went out over the land of Egypt. The speech of One Whom I knew not did I hear [saying],

6I removed his shoulder from the burden; his hands were freed from the basket.

7You called in distress and I delivered you; I answered you in the secret place of thunder; I tested you at the waters of Meribah. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!(A)

8Hear, O My people, and I will admonish you--O Israel, if you would listen to Me!

9There shall no strange god be among you, neither shall you worship any alien god.

10I am the Lord your God, Who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide and I will fill it.

11But My people would not hearken to My voice, and Israel would have none of Me.

12So I gave them up to their own hearts' lust and let them go after their own stubborn will, that they might follow their own counsels.(B)

13Oh, that My people would listen to Me, that Israel would walk in My ways!

14Speedily then I would subdue their enemies and turn My hand against their adversaries.

15[Had Israel listened to Me in Egypt, then] those who hated the Lord would have come cringing before Him, and their defeat would have lasted forever.

16[God] would feed [Israel now] also with the finest of the wheat; and with honey out of the rock would I satisfy you

I know I am only here by God's grace. By his grace he allowed me to become a child of his. By his grace he has taken me to many places in my life and has stood by me. By his grace he carries me when I can not walk. And by his grace he will never leave me. So by his grace receive him as your Father.

Hey I love all those 3's in the read count to this thread. I like 3's. Praise God.

Hebrews 12:11 (Amplified Bible)
11For the time being no discipline brings joy, but seems grievous and painful; but afterwards it yields a peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it [a harvest of fruit which consists in righteousness--in conformity to God's will in purpose, thought, and action, resulting in right living and right standing with God].

James1
2Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations.

3Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience.

4But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing.

Psalm 143
A Psalm of David.
1HEAR MY prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications! In Your faithfulness answer me, and in Your righteousness.
2And enter not into judgment with Your servant, for in Your sight no man living is [in himself] righteous or justified.(A)

3For the enemy has pursued and persecuted my soul, he has crushed my life down to the ground; he has made me to dwell in dark places as those who have been long dead.

4Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed and faints within me [wrapped in gloom]; my heart within my bosom grows numb.

5I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Your doings; I ponder the work of Your hands.

6I spread forth my hands to You; my soul thirsts after You like a thirsty land [for water]. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!

7Answer me speedily, O Lord, for my spirit fails; hide not Your face from me, lest I become like those who go down into the pit (the grave).

8Cause me to hear Your loving-kindness in the morning, for on You do I lean and in You do I trust. Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk, for I lift up my inner self to You.

9Deliver me, O Lord, from my enemies; I flee to You to hide me.

10Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; let Your good Spirit lead me into a level country and into the land of uprightness.

11Save my life, O Lord, for Your name's sake; in Your righteousness, bring my life out of trouble and free me from distress.

12And in your mercy and loving-kindness, cut off my enemies and destroy all those who afflict my inner self, for I am Your servant.

I hope everyone has told the Lord thank you today. Thank him for all the blessings in our lives. He is worthy of all praise and worship and honor and glory. THANK YOU GOD ALMIGHTY.

I pray we will all be in God's will for our lives. Sometimes we try and do things on our own and we tend to mess it up. Listen to him and wait on his answers to your prayers. Amen

Just a few words of wisdom to live by.

Proverbs 19
1BETTER IS a poor man who walks in his integrity than a rich man who is perverse in his speech and is a [self-confident] fool.
2Desire without knowledge is not good, and to be overhasty is to sin and miss the mark.

3The foolishness of man subverts his way [ruins his affairs]; then his heart is resentful and frets against the Lord.

4Wealth makes many friends, but the poor man is avoided by his neighbor.(A)

5A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he who breathes out lies shall not escape.(B)

6Many will entreat the favor of a liberal man, and every man is a friend to him who gives gifts.

7All the brothers of a poor man detest him--how much more do his friends go far from him! He pursues them with words, but they are gone.

8He who gains Wisdom loves his own life; he who keeps understanding shall prosper and find good.

9A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he who breathes forth lies shall perish.

10Luxury is not fitting for a [self-confident] fool--much less for a slave to rule over princes.

11Good sense makes a man restrain his anger, and it is his glory to overlook a transgression or an offense.

12The king's wrath is as terrifying as the roaring of a lion, but his favor is as [refreshing as] dew upon the grass.(C)

13A self-confident and foolish son is the [multiplied] calamity of his father, and the contentions of a wife are like a continual dripping [of water through a chink in the roof].

14House and riches are the inheritance from fathers, but a wise, understanding, and prudent wife is from the Lord.(D)

15Slothfulness casts one into a deep sleep, and the idle person shall suffer hunger.

16He who keeps the commandment [of the Lord] keeps his own life, but he who despises His ways shall die.(E)

17He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and that which he has given He will repay to him.(F)

18Discipline your son while there is hope, but do not [indulge your angry resentments by undue chastisements and] set yourself to his ruin.

19A man of great wrath shall suffer the penalty; for if you deliver him [from the consequences], he will [feel free to] cause you to do it again.

20Hear counsel, receive instruction, and accept correction, that you may be wise in the time to come.

21Many plans are in a man's mind, but it is the Lord's purpose for him that will stand.(G)

22That which is desired in a man is loyalty and kindness [and his glory and delight are his giving], but a poor man is better than a liar.

23The reverent, worshipful fear of the Lord leads to life, and he who has it rests satisfied; he cannot be visited with [actual] evil.(H)

24The sluggard buries his hand in the dish, and will not so much as bring it to his mouth again.

25Strike a scoffer, and the simple will learn prudence; reprove a man of understanding, and he will increase in knowledge.

26He who does violence to his father and chases away his mother is a son who causes shame and brings reproach.

27Cease, my son, to hear instruction only to ignore it and stray from the words of knowledge.

28A worthless witness scoffs at justice, and the mouth of the wicked swallows iniquity.

29Judgments are prepared for scoffers, and stripes for the backs of [self-confident] fools.(I)

Today I started thinking about how it can be really hard to trust the Lord at times. We say it but can we do it? If we really want our faith to grow then we have to follow through on trusting him. Whenever you start to doubt yourself and what he can do for you just remind yourself I trust him. Say it as often as you need to until you start to believe it. I trust you Father in every area of my life Amen.

After having to put the trusting God thing to work yesterday he answered my prayer. I am so glad I just trusted him and gave my concerns to him. He is such a big God and an awesome God. I love him more than anything or anyone. He is first in my life. I wish for everyone to know the love he has for you. Take that leap of faith if you have not. He is waiting for you.

Amen. I thank God that you have your answer. I know the Lord can take any problem and make it well. We all have trouble giving things up sometimes, thank you for the reminder. You always give wonderful encouragement and help me allot Cindy.
Where have all the new people who were posting gone? Are you guys still there, miss your post.

Thank you tobby  I know that I have to always stay on that straight path. I sometimes tend to wander but a loving Father takes my hand and gently, sometimes forcefully, brings me back on track.

I understand our lives can become so busy at times but I also miss our other posters.

Keep up the good fight everyone. Keep the faith and stand Amen.
