Hey Sweepers!!!

So I have a question... I have been sweeping for years. I have had my share of wins. I usually just enter instant wins and one entry...

Just curious what is your strategy? I have tried daily sweeps but nothing ever comes of it. Do you guys enter all kinds or a specific kind... I have a dry spell for a long time... Just trying to regroup and figure out what I am doing wrong.

You're not doing anything wrong 'cept skipping the daily entry. Some of the best sweeps are in the daily entry - all of the Scripps Network sweeps, HGTV, DIY, Travel Channel, Food Network, etc. There are 3 or 4 of them that are available right now and a similar number just ended. The odds are no better or worse than the sweeps you've been entering. The second and subsequent entries on the Scripps sweeps are 2 clicks - email & enter, so they're very fast. You might also look up TextBookRush, Hyundai , Dave Ramsey and a bunch more in the dailies. If you search the SA site for Ramsey, Rush and Hyundai they should come up, no need to search for the full title.
 
I like to enter all different kinds-one entry, weekly, daily, monthly, text, instant wins and locals...I think the only sweepstakes I don't enter is any where the winner is chosen by the most votes because I think those take up too much time. Even though I enter a variety of sweeps, I try to focus on entering for sweeps that have prizes I really want or that I would think my parents would love.

I don't necessarily think you are doing anything wrong, a lot of winning sweepstakes is just plain old luck- I think we all go through phases where we win like crazy and dry spells.

Hmmm....whiner's wall....haven't done THAT in a long time.....maybe I need to revert to the time-tested "everybody's grounded from using their computers until I get a decent win" trick. Don't laugh....it worked both times I used it in the past!
 
I would suggest entering blogs and also searching for some on your own. I just won a nice prize from one of Wisconsin cheese and kitchen tools worth $100. There were several blogs hosting this giveaway so I found as many as I could and then entered each one everyday. I've done that many times when there is more then one blog with the same prize that I want and I've won every time (even if it took a month or so to get the win).
