you are all really, really going to hate me...especially wolfie...
it did not even reach 70 today...at noon it was 64 degrees and sprinkling, by 4 pm, sun was shining and a whopping 68 degrees.... :D

It was 103 with a heat index of 117 here today. The dew point was 77! We had some horrible storms come through a little while ago and it cooled things a little, but tomorrow is supposed to be high 90s with a high dew point! Not to worry, a cold front is coming through! It will be 87 Friday, Sat and Sun! Woohoo, I can feel that arctic air now! :roll:

wolfie..I posted a TON of home made ice cream recipes....that will keep you cool, if you do not have an ice cream maker...you can always do this

Ice Cream In A Bag
Materials Needed:
· 1 Tbs. Sugar
· 1/2 Cup Half-n-Half
· 1/4 tsp. Vanilla
· 1/2 Cup Rock Salt
· Ice
· 1 Pint Size Ziploc Bag
· 1 Gallon Size Ziploc Bag

Instructions:
Combine the sugar, half-n-half, and vanilla in the pint size ziploc bag and seal tightly. Combine the ice and rock salt in the large ziploc bag. Place the small bag inside of the larger bag and seal. Shake the bag until the mixture turns into ice cream! This will take about 5 minutes. (You may want to wear gloves.) Add sprinkles, candy, nuts, or fruit and enjoy!
