Im so glad you picked pam. I saw that you posted and thought please don't let there be a link about a correlation between pineapple upside down cake and some weird disease. sorry pam

:sunny: All I know is that when I watch my trans fats, eat more fiber and excercise my cholesterol drops. I will always have high cholesterol thanks to my genetics but can help reduce them to a safer level.

Did you see the correction on the study posted:
Correction: Feb. 16, 2006

A front-page article on Feb. 8 about a new study finding that low-fat diets have no effect on the risk of cancer or heart disease misstated the incidence of breast cancer among women in the study. It was 42 per 10,000 per year in women in the low-fat-diet group, compared with 45 per 10,000 in women consuming their regular diet — not per 1,000. (The difference was deemed statistically insignificant.)

I normally only have coffee for breakfast but I woke up starving. I had a bowl of maple and brown sugar shredded wheat with a side of Chocolate Sweepstakes & Giveaways marshmallow ice cream.

Just an FYI-hubby just went back to the doc to have his triglceride levels checked and his were high. He'd been doing the oatmeal and cheerios thing, alternating between them. His doc told him the cheerios thing won't work but to keep eating the oatmeal and other high-fiber foods. The doc is also pushing the South Beach diet which is what I already do. Well, beer not included

I just want to get mine above 98. Too bad I can't trade you some amazon g/cs for cholesterol.

My hours are so screwy that I'm not sure what time breakfast is anymore. I had some nice veggies and rice about 2:30 this morning...so I guess that might count as breakfast. Or maybe it was dinner, considering it was the last meal I had and now I'm just getting up. By that logic I haven't had breakfast yet so I guess whatever I eat next will be considered...umm...breakfast. Or is it dinner since it will probably be around 6 or so? I'm corn-fused.

I went to bed early last night, was so tired I fell asleep on the livingroom floor after making dinner. I woke up after 2 and stayed up. Made dh some oatmeal and toast, then I went back to bed around 6 and then my kids had cold cereal. I rarely ever eat breakfast.
