Why can't they accept 'Professional Sweepstaker" as a serious answer? I just answer 'Nothing' when I am asked now.

We work just as hard or harder at these sweepstakes as people who are on outside jobs.
 
when people hear I do this they always say "oh, your one of those, I have heard about people like you" . :laughing: whatever. I like what my brother says about me. He tells people I sit at home and squeeze money out of my computer. works for me.
 
I don't consider myself a professional sweepstaker. It's a hobby but when I win something then my family want me to enter for them. Yeah right like that's gona happen :laughing:
 
When you gota entering for other people they need to split the wins. Shucks, this ain't no easy job-everytime I win, I get exhausted from excitement.

:laughing: I just say you can enter for yourself. I got so excited the other day when I won that XBOX I can't imagine what I'll do when I win a big cash prize. Probably have a heart attack.
 
Not me no cash yet but it's coming I just know it and I will hollor loud enough that all of SA will know it too. :laughing:
 
I am just praying and claiming that I can go. I have never been and I am trying desparately to win all the money I will need to go
 
Well you know since I am in Houston as I had said in PMS maybe we could talk about going together or something. I can deffinately pray that the money shows up for both of us.

Sweeping is a hobby for me! Very addicted hobby! People always look at me like I am crazy if I tell them but when I win than it is different. I work full time but make sure my sweeps get done. My family makes fun of me each day ... Moms gotta get her sweeps done .. but when the Fed Ex man pulls up they all run to the door :-)

Do you really make enough to live on? This is what you consider your job?
 
When doing group introductions at work now, I tell them my name and title, and follow it up with, "... and I'm addicted to sweepstaking." When the inevitable odd looks start, I give them a sampling of wins: "I've won just about anything from a bobblehead made in my own likeness to a $200K truck and trailer."

Bwah-hahaha. Mock MY hobby, will they?! :laughing:
 
I consider this a hobby, I can't and haven't been able to make a living off of it.
Someday I'm hoping to win alot of money, a trip, and a car (none of which I've won yet, but, I have hope)
I see other people winning, and I enter those same contests, so I know one day it very well can be me.

My mom saw the movie Prize Winner From Defiance , Ohio. and she say said "That's you!"
I loved that movie.

I wish Medical companies would give away prizes, like I'd love to win one of those new respirators that are as light and as compact as a laptop computer. Has anyone seen them? they are so cool. Or a year's supply of medical equipment. I think that would be cool of medical companies to do something like that. Just a thought.

I do this as a hobby and try to win things we need, can use, can sell for $$ that we might need or things I could normally never purchase as well as gifts. It has helped more than anyone I know will ever realize or know.

What annoys me is these issues that I endure as a sweeper-

"It was free to you, you shouldn't try to sell it to me. You should give it to me"- Uhhh, first of all, it's my tax money that will have to pay for this and just because, it's free doesn't mean I didn't "work" hard to win it and not just going to give these prizes away if I can use the cash and have buyers lined up wanting the items. I give you some of my wins for free anyways!

"Where is my stuff? You need to enter me in these sweepstakes! I haven't received anything in the mail yet"- uhhh, then don't you think you should get on the computer and start entering? Not going to DQ myself for no one for entering everyone I know. Besides, I dont have enough time to enter all my sweeps, how do you think I will have time to enter yours too?

"No one wins sweepstakes, those are all scams"- Well, leaves more for us believers then! Then I start going down the line of my wins and showing them things I have won. Some still don't believe me even with proof or pics.

"What a waste of time, can't you do something better with your time?" Sure I can and I do but, why not use my free time to do something I enjoy and win some wonderful things in the process? I might have given up most of my crafting but, I LOVE sweeps!!! It's not a waste of time when you have something to show for it.

I am sure I will come up with more lol.
