Enter the Farm Bureau 2027 Farm Dog of the Year Contest, sponsored by American Farm Bureau Federation, for a chance to win exciting prizes. With prizes provided by Nestlé Purina PetCare Company, this contest is open to legal US residents, 18 years or older, who are members of Farm Bureau in their state of residence. To enter, complete a nomination form, affidavit of eligibility, and publicity release between May 4, 2026, and July 11, 2026. A panel of judges will evaluate entries based on the role of the farm dog in assisting and lightening the workload, as well as its companionship. The Farm Dog of the Year winner will receive $5,000, pet food coupons, and travel stipend, while the People's Choice Pup winner will receive $2,500, pet food coupons, and travel stipend. Winners must attend the award ceremony at the 2027 Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina. American Farm Bureau Federation is responsible for this contest, and by entering, you agree to be bound by the official rules. The Farm Dog of the Year winner (farm dog owner) and People’s Choice Pup winner (farm dog owner) also must be available to attend the award ceremony which will be held during AFBF’s 2027 Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina, from January 8-13, 2027.
