The problem with bringing religion into politics is that you are a voice for the people.. all people.. not just the ones who believe like you do. can you imagine the absolute outrage if a satanist was running for VP.. or someone who is a buddhist.. or.. dare I say a Muslim? People would be outraged! and would be saying keep your beliefs out of it.

While it is a serious matter I was LMAO @ this because I almost posted the exact same thing, but thought it'd be better if I didn't. Too many peeps already have that misconception of me

People most certainly would be outraged and most certainly would be screaming for the satanist or the buddhist or the muslim to keep their beliefs out of it. And they'd have every right!

I did hear about it though on msnbc last night. I hear Palin wasn't to happy with it.. surprise.

do y'all watch msnbc? I love Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann

The most ridiculous thing I have heard in a very long time was McCain saying... Fundamentals of our economy are strong really? what planet is he talking about I wonder and then to make matters worse for himself.. He then turns around and says, to clarify of course, but those fundamentals, the American worker and their innovation, their entrepreneurship, the small business, those are the fundamentals of America and I think they're strong  omg! Fundamentals = American workers? Ok john whatever you say.

He has said in the past that he isnt the greatest when it comes to economics and he sure proved that yesterday.

Just a little reminder that just about all politicians lie and you need to consider the source of some of these stories especially where the facts are undocumeted. Here is a popular candidate site:

http://liecount.com/

I guess you have to decide for yourself who lies the worst?

I'm not posting stories. I posted facts. You can check 'em at factcheck.org. That's an unbiased site btw.

greet.org must be down, I am getting a redirected site down page. :error:

me too. Thats why im really looking forward to the debates.. I would really like to see them do something like Bill Clinton did. Go to mtv and have the audience ask questions. that was good. granted you get some stupid questions like do you wear boxers or briefs but all and all I liked it.

Well you tube did do this early on in this election and I really wished Obama would have agreed to town hall meetings with John McCain because we would have seen them answering without their speech writers writing their speeches.

I am going to be glad when this election is over because at least by then we won't be having to hear all this attacking going on.

No matter who wins this election we are going to have to pull together as a country.

I agree on the live interviews and them answering questions without their speech writers. Just be honest and give honest answers. I'm still irritated by them editing Palin's answers on the first interview. Not everyone is computer savvy or has a computer as weird as that may seem. I hope the media doesn't make a habit of that in regards to the candidates' interviews. I don't want their spin on a candidate, let me make up my own mind!

lets try again.

I too want to see unscripted, honest responses. most media is biased.. If you like McCain watch Fox news *cough*.. sorry, but Fox news is more tabloid.. If you like Obama watch MSNBC.. The only one that I have seen that isn't blatantly biased is CNN..

He would have. McCain wouldn't come down on the number of town hall meetings. McCain wanted 10, Obama wanted to do 5.. It isn't that he refused just because he didn't want to or was afraid to he didn't want to do 10.
